Following an earthquake in Takayama, Japan, fisherman and amateur cryptozoologist Shingo Shoritabe discovered several unusually large catfish swimming in a nearby lake. Based on strange, tattoo-like markings on their back, he suspected they were the offspring of the legendary Namazu.
