Darryl Karrew of Narraganset, Rhode Island had the largest collection of ships in bottles in New England, having carried on his great grandfather’s hobby. Turns out a good number of them were seaworthy; folks were finding them washed up on beaches up and down the Atlantic seaboard for the next ten years.
